A robust design team will work in co-creation with the pupils, teachers and neighbourhood to make the playground a nature-rich, green and powerful play and learning environment! The five schools are a mix between special education, secondary and primary schools.
The concrete goes on the seesaw, softening takes place, giving space for biodiversity and water and opportunities for play and learning.

Soon, the playgrounds of Atheneum in the municipality of Brasschaat , GO Markevallei Herne, Sint-Michielsschool in Lokaal bestuur Merelbeke , Centrumschool Kuurne and BO De Sprankel in Stad Mechelen will be given a fresh green outfit!
