On the welcome platform for your specific programme, you’ll find all the essential information to help you get started smoothly— your timetable, study materials, certificates, student card, and much more.

Academic Calendar
The academic year officially begins in the third week of September. Some programmes may start a week earlier, with introductory activities for first-year students, modular lessons, or internships. You’ll find details about where and when you’re expected on the welcome platform of your programme via My Dinar.

Do you want to check if you’re entitled to exemptions?
Do you already have a bachelor's or master’s degree or acquired credits from a related field of study? Perhaps you already have relevant practical experience? Then you may be entitled to an Abridged Track.
After your enrolment, you can reach out to the study track manager of your programme. They will provide guidance on how to apply for exemptions. If applicable, your tuition fee will also be adjusted.

In the first week of the new academic year (september 2026), you'll have plenty of opportunities to familiarise yourself with your new surroundings and community. As a newbie, you will get to know your campus, fellow students and lecturers. Before long, you can go your own way at Artevelde UAS.
Study costs
Aside from tuition fees, there are other costs to consider when studying with us. These include the costs of textbooks and any specific course material you might need. For most courses, the total will range from 300 to 700 euros annually. Select your programme and the previous academic year in this tool, and you'll get an overview of the costs for each course.
Buying a laptop
