Phases of research project
We distinguish two phases within the project in which the following objectives are paramount:
Phase 1
- Identifying (partial) competences suitable to be acquired through dual learning. This is done in interaction with a learning network of work field partners (i.e. institutions/organisations where students learn dual education).
- Development of adequate tools for work field partners to optimally guide students in acquiring new competences. Besides the guidance of generic student profiles, the focus will be on students with autism spectrum disorders.
- Develop a follow-up and evaluation model so that work field partners can qualitatively evaluate students.
- In phase 1, all education levels of the information sector from secondary adult education, higher to university education are involved through the living lab or participation in the steering committee of the project.
Phase 2
- Transfer the results from phase 1 to another field of work and level of education, namely professional Bachelor of Audiovisual Arts, majoring in Stage Techniques.
- Drawing up and refining an implementation plan with attention to an appropriate broadening strategy.

The project will run from 1 April 2021 to 30 June 2023. First results are expected in autumn 2021.
