In the academic year 2013–2014 the FAST researchers developed a prototype of an educational app using the software AppCooker and AppTaster . The prototype bundles interactive modules with which teachers can elicit cooperative learning and reward, adjust and assess collaboration. The prototype is based on functional requirements for end users that have been determined from lesson observations among ten to fourteen year olds, source research, didactic expertise from the teacher training(s) and exploratory discussions with teachers and software developers.
In the 2014–2015 academic year, FAST employees are looking for a potential market for the edu app. Students of the Bachelor of Business Management program help develop a business plan.
