We wanted to find out how Flemish people perceived the news about the coronavirus and to what extent they knew how to recognise fake news about it.

With this study, we want to clarify what Flemish people think about news in corona time. Our study shows that interest in (corona) news is high and classical media are mostly trusted. Yet a large number of Flemish people say they also want news other than corona news.
