The PACE project aimed to respond to two major need of families with young children: access to childcare and employment. Twelve organisations collaborated to test new models of flexible and occasional childcare and of guiding parents towards employment from within childcare. The focus was on families living in vulnerable situations (poverty, far from the labour market).

The main task of Artevelde University of Applied Sciences was to investigate the impact of the tested methods. In addition, we were involved in the mapping of (legal) barriers to upscale these methods in the 2-Seas region.
