At the Flemish level, in the 29 hospitals with a palliative unit, this research inventories how a team pays attention to spiritual care or what is needed to give time and space to spirituality in care. Any models or methodologies used are mapped out, together with the needs, concerns, experiences, expectations and barriers to integrate this fourth pillar of palliative care into total care.
