Wise workable schools: exploring and strengthening school development in Flanders
Is change keeping you and your team busy too? Teams are constantly engaged in change to make their school a place where students and teachers learn and work with gusto. But how do those changes happen? What impact do they have on the work of teachers and school leaders? And what makes change more workable? We investigated.
A wise and workable school in change, is it possible? Yes, it can. From this research, we developed a Wijzer to support schools in changing together in a workable way.
The focus of this Research & Development assignment is on strengthening the focus on workable work during change processes. Through design research involving a thorough literature review, an exploratory questionnaire and ten in-depth case studies, rich research insights were gathered. In the research report and summary below, we comprehensively describe and substantiate them. Based on the research findings, we developed a self-assessment tool to support school teams in workable change.
