Sports facilities at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences

Registration: via the events calendar, booking is possible from the week before until the start of the sports session. Full is full, so be quick. 

Price: 2 euro  

Location: Campus Watersportbaan. 

Bring: your student card, confirmation email with QR code, clean sports shoes, refillable drinking bottle. 

At the Centre for Locomotor and Neurological Rehabilitation, you can swim (individual swimming initiations) or participate in wheelchair basketball.

The swimming card is the cheapest swimming formula in Ghent. You can use it at Ghent's Strop, Van Eyck, Rozebroeken and Rooigem swimming pools (not at GUSB).

Special rate

Are you younger than 26 and an Artevelde student? Then you pay 10 euros for 11 swimming sessions, instead of 18 euros. You can buy a card (cash) from the Stuvo officer at your campus. It is valid for one year from the first swim. 

Swimming at the GUSB

The GUSB is the swimming pool of Ghent University. As an Arteveldehogeschool student, you also enjoy a special rate there. 

Please note: if you go swimming there and are not recognised as a student at the GUSB cash desk, you probably did not consent to share your data with Ghent University. This needs to be done in the consent register.

Students of Artevelde University College can also use the sports facilities of Universiteit Gent and Hogeschool Gent.

Register once via the steps below (even if you would have done so before):

1. Choose 'create an account now'
2. Choose 'register with e-mail address'. Enter the e-mail address of your educational institution. We will send a code for verification. Enter the code on the web page.
3. Then enter your first and last name.
4. You now have an external account to log in to our applications. If you previously had an account with this e-mail address, it will automatically be linked to your old profile.
5. You will receive a permission message; please accept this.

After completing these steps, you can log in directly from now on.
