Biography
Jochen worked for 18 years at the youth service of the City of Bruges, of which 6 years as a manager. He draws up various youth policy plans. By working in a connecting and cross-policy way, the City of Bruges received the label 'Child and youth-friendly city' under his leadership.
Since 2018, Jochen has been affiliated with Artevelde in the postgraduate course 'Leadership'.
He considers it a privilege to be able to guide groups or individuals in their professional development as a manager or in search of their talent and core qualities.
In September 2022, he also started as a teacher in the Pedagogy of the Young Child course, where he brings in his years of expertise on children and young people in their free time.
He likes to let groups and individuals take new development steps and invites them to self-reflection. In 'Theme-centred Interaction' he looks at and acts on group processes and collaborations in teams.
