Biography
Karen Van den Bussche is a nurse (2010), obtained her master's degree in Nursing in 2012 and obtained her doctorate in health sciences in 2018. The focus of her PhD (2018, UGent) was the development and validation of measurement instruments for incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD).
As a nursing researcher, Karen focuses on different projects within the theme of future-proof primary care. Karen is also connected to UZ Brussels as a researcher and works on the development and implementation of Group Care for breast cancer patients with (high risk of) cardiovascular diseases after cardio toxic treatment.
