Artevelde UAS earns European recognition for digital Erasmus+ processes
The European Commission has recognised Artevelde UAS as a European Student Card Initiative (ESCI) Champion 2025-2027 for Belgium. ESCI Champions excel in the digitisation of their Erasmus+ processes. The UAS has received this prestigious title for its excellent implementation of Erasmus Without Paper (EWP), a system that simplifies the digital exchange of student data between European higher education institutions.
Artevelde UAS was recognised in the category 'Implementation of Erasmus Without Paper (EWP)'. This system enables the digital exchange of administrative documents such as study results, learning agreements and nominations between European higher education institutions, without additional paperwork or emails. Artevelde UAS was already an EWP champion in the period 2022-2024, and now reaffirms its pioneering role in digital student mobility.
Ambassadors
The new ESCI Champions commit for a period of two years. Their role ranges from supporting ESCI by participating in meetings and national events, to sharing testimonials and best practices with other educational institutions. Additionally, they contribute to the further development of ESCI initiatives.
