New needs for collaboration
Social-profit organizations and governments have in recent years increasingly professionalized themselves in network collaboration ( including through PRONET) to address collective problems.
Social issues such as poverty, health, migration, lifelong learning, ... however, are becoming increasingly complex. The corona crisis has made this even more acute.
So is currently an evolution in the cooperation models and frameworks used for this purpose. These are evolving from network thinking and acting to ecosystemic thinking and acting. They have different characteristics and there are specific expectations e.g. t.v.
- the type of leadership;
- competencies of employees;
- internal processes;
- ...
From network to ecosystem
There are a lot of questions in the field about it:
- what this change will bring about;
- how best to approach this change.
In this study, therefore, we focus on the frameworks and tools that managers and employees in social-profit organizations and governments need to make the transition from network thinking and acting to ecosystem thinking and acting.
