In short

This project develops a digital platform that makes universal design for learning (UDL) practical and accessible across various professional sectors. Building on Artevelde University College’s UDL guideline, the platform targets practitioners in education, healthcare and support services with ready-to-use tools and inspiration.

Need and relevance

Although a step-by-step UDL guide and training workshops are already available, professionals still lack concrete, sector-specific materials. Existing resources are often too theoretical or generic. This project meets that demand by offering practical, directly applicable content that reflects real-world situations. It brings UDL to life for a diverse professional audience.

From approach to impact

The platform is being developed through co-creation with users from different sectors. Practical cases, needs and examples from education, care and guidance are collected and organised thematically. The multidisciplinary approach highlights intersectoral connections and promotes knowledge sharing. The result is a dynamic platform that strengthens UDL implementation and supports knowledge development within and across sectors.
