Mime therapy is an internationally distributed and evidence-based treatment method for persons with facial paralysis (Beurskens & Heymans, 2006).

As part of the research project at Arteveldehogeschool 'Innovation in mime therapy: development of a digital practice platform' (Desmet, 2021), the mime therapy course manual (Bronk, Devriese, Beurskens, van Hinte & Desmet, 2018) was digitised.

The digital practice package includes:

  • 71 practice videos with oral instruction
  • 11 exercise programmes
  • 3 digitised questionnaires
  • 4 information cards (general and per stage)
  • 4 practice sheets (speech)
