Two or more teachers, sometimes also non-teachers, who work together to provide good education for each student, because they believe they can achieve this better together than alone, that is team teaching. But how do you do that concretely?
We investigated why schools opt for team teaching, what the possible positive and negative consequences are for students and teachers and which factors determine its success. We developed supporting material for practice, such as chat cards, team teaching models and a practical guide. Do you want to get started with this? We are happy to support you and your colleagues. Contact us for more information, training or coaching via Mieke.Meirsschaut@arteveldehs.be. We base ourselves on research into team teaching conducted by the support center for educational research (www.steunpuntsono.be).
