During the 2015-2016 school year at the start of M decree, the Edith Stein comprehensive school examined what a successful, motivating learning pathway could look like for their pupils and how they could contribute to it. How can they eliminate the identified bottlenecks and further enhance the chances of success?

The learning trajectories of eight pupils were thoroughly questioned and studied through 32 in-depth interviews with the pupil, parents, teachers and pupil supervisors. The result is a report detailing the conditions and focal points of a quality learning pathway. Through eight case studies, several unlikely bottleneck pathways are described. They led to policy recommendations and proposals for improving these educational practices.
