The right to reasonable accommodation and Universal design: practical experiences of teachers and students, a guide and workshop
In a previous project, in close cooperation with Flemish schools, the extent to which education can be designed more universally so that the (specific) educational needs of pupils are taken into account right from the start was investigated.
We note the need for a guideline for UDL (Universal Design for Learning).
A first result of the valorisation project is such a guideline in which theoretical frameworks as well as practical experiences and tools take shape in an accessible and inspiring way.
Complementary to the guideline, we are developing material for a workshop for the professional field (ASO, TSO, BSO, BUSO and applicable in various contexts) in which the contents of the guideline are incorporated and applied.
