  • Collaboration projects innovate the social economy

Collaboration, competence development and knowledge sharing in transition environments. The social economy is a complex bundling of sub-sectors responsible for the training, guidance and employment of more than 30,000 people.

  • Active Ageing in Residential Care Centres

Guideline development to promote meaningful and meaningful daily activities in an ASC.

  • Development goals, assessment and language tasks for OKAN (Welcoming classes of foreign-speaking newcomers)

A PWO preliminary study revealed that OKAN secondary school teachers and schools were struggling with how best to evaluate. There was a need for information about and concrete examples of evaluation aligned with the new development goals for OKAN.

  • Op(ge)vangen: Working towards accessibility for socially vulnerable families in childcare in a new decree context

Access to childcare from an early age is an important lever in ensuring equal opportunities for all young families. A new Flemish framework decree defines the regulations within which this accessibility should take shape.

  • Inner-class differentiation in minor subjects: how? This way!

With an increasingly diverse society, diversity has become a given within every classroom situation. Thus, in order to deal positively with these differences between pupils and provide optimal learning opportunities for every pupil in the classroom, within-class differentiation has become a necessity.

  • Fablab Junior

Within the 'Fablab Junior' project, playgrounds in Flanders work for one week with the Fablab Junior toolkit. This includes a desktop laser cutter and a 3D printer.

  • HR in 3D

As part of in-service training at the initiative of the Flemish Government, the subsidised in-service training project 'HR in 3D' took place in 2013-2014. 'HR in 3D' gave a boost to integrated personnel management in schools and school communities.

  • New Flemish Youth Care, from new decree to innovative practice

Through qualitative case studies, we learned more about the perspective of adolescents, parents and professionals in the Flemish youth care system. Adolescents and their parents had many recommendations to the youth care system. They encourage professionals to invest in good level quality youthcare in acting, not just in words. They ask youthcare to be more strenght- and demand-oriented and to have more participation in decisionmaking.

  • ITex

The 'ITex' project focuses on research into e-commerce opportunities for Flemish textile companies.

  • Mapping the social network of entrepreneurs of Turkish origin
