How does a teacher create inclusive learning environments? What can you do as a teacher to appreciate and make use of the diversity in the classroom? How can teachers collaborate in a more connecting way? But also… How can researchers, pedagogical guidance services, CLBs, lecturers and teacher trainers work together to meet these challenges? The POTENTIAL project is looking for answers.

Between January 2016 and January 2020, a team of researchers and valorisers is developing materials to meet these challenges, in close collaboration with the broad education and civil society. They test the materials in practice and investigate the impact on the competence development of teachers. The focus is on creating more inclusive learning environments and promoting cooperative collaboration between the school, parents and the wider school environment.

The Agency for Innovation through Science and Technology (IWT) financed this strategic basic research (SBO).
