In this two-year project, we work together with primary schools to build language-efficient education, effective language pathways for pupils in need of extra language support and a supported language policy.
The European Language Portfolio (ELP) is a successful example of education, particularly language education, that is harmonized across borders. It facilitates greater mobility during the school career, enhances the visibility of multilingualism in Europe, and promotes social cohesion. We see many opportunities in a digital implementation of the ELP.
During the 3D workflow, there are many conversions: from 3D scanning, modelling and texturing, visualising 3D in AR and VR to 3D printing in full colour. This research maps the management of colour and texture through these steps.
In hands-on pilot cases in co-creation with students, researchers and the field, we are exploring how to design packaging that is not simply discarded as 'waste' after use.
In this research project, a validated starter French test is being developed, as an online tool, that measures pupils' speaking, writing, reading and listening language skills at the start of secondary education.
