In this two-year project, we work together with primary schools to build language-efficient education, effective language pathways for pupils in need of extra language support and a supported language policy.
The European Language Portfolio (ELP) is a successful example of education, particularly language education, that is harmonized across borders. It facilitates greater mobility during the school career, enhances the visibility of multilingualism in Europe, and promotes social cohesion. We see many opportunities in a digital implementation of the ELP.
The aim is to further develop and market a digital tool (Lifecity) for facilitating counselling conversations in youth services for children (6-12 years), and a partial prototype of a similar tool for 12+ young people (LifeTree).
The overall objective of this project is to reduce the number of school dropouts and NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) by sharpening their motivation and entrepreneurial skills.
